Every Villela Stay house honours those who built Brasília
Brasília was born from a dream — that of Juscelino Kubitschek, who built a capital in the middle of the cerrado in a thousand days. The plan came from Lúcio Costa, the curves from Oscar Niemeyer, the gardens from Burle Marx, the tiles from Athos Bulcão. And the soul came later, in the voices of Renato Russo and Cassia Eller, who made the city the Capital of Rock.
At Villela Stay, every unit carries one of these names. Villa Kubitschek and Villa Catetinho recall the founding president — the Catetinho was his first home in the city, built in ten days. The Flat do Oscar, Flat do Burle Marx, Flat do Lúcio Costa and Flat do Athos Bulcão celebrate the builders. The Renato Russo and Cassia Eller suites hold the soundtrack. And Casa Modernista is the synthesis of it all: the architecture of Brasília, with open doors for you to live in for a few days.
The host
Augusto Villela was born in Brasília in 1970 — ten years after the city itself. A lawyer by profession and a host by vocation, he found in hospitality a way to share the best of the capital: Lago Sul, the cerrado sky, a generous table and living history on every corner. Today, as an award-winning Superhost, he welcomes families, groups and delegations from all over the world to the Villela Stay houses.
What we believe
That hosting is more than providing shelter. It's handing over a clean house and a heated pool, but also recommending the right restaurant, the sunset at Ermida Dom Bosco and the most beautiful route to the Esplanada. It's what we call Smart Stays for Unforgettable Experiences.
